    Rojo 'more than likely' to leave Man Utd in summer, says agent

    Marcos Rojo's agent Jonathan Barnett admitted that the Argentine is unlikely to stay at Manchester United beyond this summer after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer apparently courted a potential replacement live on camera. 

    Following his club's 5-2 thrashing of Bournemouth at the weekend, the United manager appeared to give Cherries defender Nathan Ake a few telling words of advice. 

    While his statement was interpreted by BT Sport as “Good luck. You need a bit of luck from your centre-backs. Just keep going," others contended that Ake was told something quite different.

    Jorginho has acknowledged the rumours of his impending Chelsea exit, but insists he is completely "focused" on helping the team finish the season strongly.

    Fulham have announced that they have activated a clause to sign Anthony Knockaert on a permanent basis from Brighton.

    The Frenchman has signed a contract until 2023, with the Championship club holding an option to extend by a further year.

    Speaking to the club's official website, the 28-year-old said: "I'm happy to continue the adventure with Fulham for three more years.

    "I'm really excited for the remainder of this season and hopefully we can achieve our goal of being promoted to the Premier League.

    Arsenal may decide to offload Mesut Ozil to protect their "next generation" of talent, according to Martin Keown.

    Asked if the German still has a future at the Emirates, the former Gunners defender told Stadium Astro: "No, I don’t think he does and I think really this summer now they may see the player being paid off, because I think now it’s about protecting the next generation.

    "I think it’s a real shame, because he had a magnificent talent, but if you’re not prepared to work hard out of possession for the team, then you don’t get to play in the new Arsenal at the moment and that’s what Arteta is all about.

    Inter are looking at the possibility of signing Mario Mandzukic as they look for a back-up striker for Romelu Lukaku, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

    The former Juventus forward is available after leaving Al-Duhail and Antonio Conte could look to pounce as he aims to bolster his squad ready for the 2020-21 season.

    The Nerazzurri have subsequently cooled their interest in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud and Roma forward Edin Dzeko, although a permanent deal could still be done for Alexis Sanchez.

    Norwich City will demand up to £50 million ($63m) for centre-back Ben Godfrey, should they receive enquiries in the summer, Sky Sports reports.

    James won't be loaned out next season, says agent

    Daniel James will not be sent out on loan next season, according to his agent Jonathan Barnett, who says the Welsh winger is now a "major part" of Manchester United.

    James has been reduced to a bit-part role in Solskjaer's squad since the top flight's resumption last month, with Mason Greenwood emerging as the Norwegian's first choice on the right of a front three.

    It has been suggested that the former Swansea ace could secure a temporary move away from Manchester this summer for regular minutes, but Barnett is adamant he will be staying put.

    Asked if there is any chance of James being loaned out when the transfer window reopens, his agent told Stretty News: “No. He’s a major part of Man United’s team. I see him playing for Man United.”
