Abderdeen defender Andrew Considine is closing in on a contract extension with the club, per the Press and Journal.

The 33-year-old, a long-serving Scottish Premiership stalwart, is in the final year of his current deal.

Considine entered the record books this year when he won his first cap for Scotland, becoming their oldest debutant for over half-a-century.

Gianluigi Donnarumma is expected to put pen to paper on a Milan extension and foil the interest of Paris Saint-Germain, per Calciomercato.

The goalkeeper's agent Mino Raiola is thought to have finalised fresh terms for the shotstopper at San Siro.

PSG sporting director Leonardo had been hopeful that the Ligue 1 outfit might have been able to bring the highly-respected keeper to Parc des Princes.

Los Blancos are chasing the Bianconeri attacker and could send the Spain international to Turin to sweeten the deal.

Newcastle Jets have agreed to loan the returning Joe Champness for a season to Brisbane Roar following the reversal of his retirement, via

The 23-year-old previously quit football in an attempt to pursue a hip-hop career but has now returned to the game following Covid-19 disruptions.

He was contractully obliged to re-sign with the Jets, but instead signed a one-year deal with the Roar, with the two clubs having now settled on an agreement.

Walcott keen on longer Saints stay?


Theo Walcott has revealed he is open to a more permanent stay at Southampton following the conclusion of his Everton loan move, per the Liverpool Echo.

The attacker is currently back at St Mary's Stadium on a season-long deal, having been farmed out by the Toffees as surplus to requirements.

Now, the ex-England man could make his return a full-time one at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

Atletico Madrid readying move for Kondogbia


Atletico Madrid are preparing to sign Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, Le10Sport reports.

Diego Simeone's side are able to sign a transfer joker outside of the transfer window and the former Inter and Monaco man is being eyed.

The Portuguese giants have informed the 22-year-old's agent that they are eager to extend his deal amid reports that Southampton want to sign him.

De Vrij's current deal expires in 2023 and he is one of their highest-paid players, but Raiola wants his client to earn as much as Romelu Lukaku, Christian Eriksen and Alexis Sanchez.

He does not want to go to war with the Ligue 1 champions but does want to depart. He does not want to catch them unawares and leave for free, so instead he has warned them early of his intent.

Real Madrid is his target destination.

Dybala contract talks postponed again


Talks between Juventus and Paulo Dybala over a new contract have been postponed, according to Tuttosport.

The Argentine attacker's current deal expires in 2022 and it has been reported that both sides want to continue their partnership.

But the two sides are far from agreeing on Dybala's salary and negotiations have once again been put off.

Inter target Napoli defender Maksimovic


Inter will swoop in with an offer for Nikola Maksimovic if he rejects Napoli's attempts to renew his contract, Calciomercato reports.

The 28-year-old defender's contract expires at the end of the season and he is demanding Napoli double his current salary.

Inter have been interested in him for some time and will try to lure him to San Siro if talks with Napoli break down.

'Willock needs to leave Arsenal'


Joe Willock will have to leave Arsenal if he wants regular first-team football, Owen Hargreaves says.


The midfielder scored one goal and supplied Nicolas Pepe with a simple pass before the winger fired into the net to secure a 3-0 win for the Gunners in their Europa League clash against Dundalk.

The 21-year-old is yet to feature in the Premier League this term, however, and while Hargreaves has been impressed by his performances, he believes Willock needs to find another club if he is to get the chance he deserves.

The 25-year-old has not featured in the Premier League for Jurgen Klopp's side this season and Liverpool Echo reports he is likely to look for a move away in the next transfer window, with Belgian side Club Brugge said to want him on loan.

Bologna are considering a move for Mario Mandzukic after they lost Federico Santander to injury, Sky Sport in Italy reports.

The Serie A side need to reinforce their attack as Santander faces months out with a knee problem. 

Mandzukic has been out of work since he was released from Al-Duhail in July and could be on his way back to the Italian top-flight.

Napoli to renew Gattuso deal


Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli has confirmed the club will soon renew coach Gennaro Gattuso's contract.

The former midfielder's current deal expires at the end of the season, but Giuntoli says both parties want to extend their partnership.

"There will be no problems and I believe that soon there will be white smoke," he told Sky Sport.

Romero's MLS move falls through


Sergio Romero has seen a potential move to MLS fall through just ahead of the MLS transfer window's closing, reports the Daily Mail.

Romero has fallen to third-choice at Man Utd, and has been looking for a way out in an attempt to find first-team football.

MLS was one option, but it appears he'll now have to wait until January to secure an exit.

Valencia to make Atleti wait for Kondogbia


Valencia will make Atletico Madrid wait to sign midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, reports Marca.

Atleti have some flexibility to sign a midfielder, with La Liga rules saying that teams can sign a replacement player from either within the league or as a free agent.

Following the departure of Thomas Partey to Arsenal, Atleti looked towards the Valencia star, but uncertainty at the Mestalla meant that Los Che felt compelled to keep hold of the midfielder. 

Liverpool to turn to Koulibaly in January


Liverpool will make a push to sign Kalidou Koulibaly in January, reports CalcioMercato.

The Reds are eyeing a player to replace, and eventually play with, Virgil van Dijk as the Dutch star is out with an ACL injury.

Koulibaly is seen as the ideal candidate for that role, although Liverpool are unlikely to be the only team after the Napoli star.

James Rodriguez is still adjusting to the “relentless” pace of Premier League life, says Kevin Campbell.

Burnley takeover bids want to keep Dyche


Both sets of rival investors bidding for a Burnley takeover want Sean Dyche to be retained as manager, according to The Telegraph.

American investment company ALK Capital and a group led by Egyptian entrepreneur Mohamed Sayed Zein Elkashashy are keen to keep the 49-year-old at Turf Moor.

But matters could be complicated if either party finds a role for current chairman Mike Garlick, whose own retention would likely see Dyche walk away from the club.

Pavon to cut LA stay short?


Guillermo Barros Schelotto's departure from LA Galaxy may allow forward Cristian Pavon to cut short his loan and return to Boca Juniors, per Radio Rivadavia's Julio Pavoni.

The MLS club parted ways with their manager on Thursday, a decision that could affect further changes down the playing squad.

Pavon represented Argentina at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
