Fulham complete deal for World Cup winner


Fulham have announced the signing of Alphonse Areola on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

The goalkeeper will join the newly-promoted sign on a season-long loan with Fulham having the option of making the move permanent.

Fenerbahce have confirmed that the club is in negotiations with Lazio over the sale of Vedat Muriqi.

The Kosovo international joined from Caykur Rizespor, scoring 17 goals in 36 games.

The midfielder will join initially on a loan deal with an option to buy next summer.

NWSL star Nagasato goes to men's team on loan


Chicago Red Stars playmaker Yuki Nagasato has moved on loan to Hayabusa Eleven, an amateur men’s club in Japan.

Nagasato will become the woman playing professionally for the club, which is part of the Kanagawa Prefecture League.  

The 33-year-old led NWSL in assists in the 2019 season with eight, adding eight goals as well.

PSG defender to join Forest


PSG defender Loic Mbe Soh is set for a move to Nottingham Forest, Goal can confirm. 

The Ligue 1 side have offered the France U-20 international a new contract, but he will instead continue his career in the Championship.

The 19-year-old is set to have a medical with Forest in the coming days.

USMNT defender Cannon joins Boavista in $3 million


USMNT right-back Reggie Cannon has left FC Dallas to join Portuguese side Boavista in a move worth a reported $3 million.

The 22-year-old has appeared in 75 matches in all competitions for FC Dallas after signing from the club's academy in 2016.

Internationally, the defender has earned 11 caps for the USMNT.

Tuchel confirms Camavinga interest but doubts move is possible


Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel had admitted he would love to add Rennes starlet Eduardo Camavinga to his side, but doubts a move would be financially possible. 

Camavinga made his France debut on Tuesday, becoming the youngest player to earn his first cap for Les Bleus since 1914. 

The 17-year-old has said he will stay at Rennes for the 2020-21 campaign, despite interest from Real Madrid.

Manchester United sign World Cup winner Press


Manchester United have announced the signing of two-time World Cup winner Christen Press, following on from their signing of Tobin Heath.

Press joins from the Utah Royals on a one-season deal, with the agreement announced hours after United landed Heath from the Portland Thorns.

Alexandre Lacazette is looking for clarification over his role at Arsenal, according to ESPN.

There is speculation the Gunners will look to cash in on the forward, who has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

Though Lacazette is not itching to leave north London, he would like assurances over his role before making a decision on his future.


Rennes confirm Chelsea talks over Mendy


Rennes have confirmed they are in discussions with Chelsea over a move for goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

The Blues are looking to add the 28-year-old as soon as possible as they search for alternatives to under-fire starter Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Blues are willing to push for any fee up to €28m (£25/$33m) including add-ons.

Nashville SC land Cadiz as DP from Benfica


Nashville SC have signed Venezuelan international striker Jhonder Cadiz on loan from Benfica.

“Jhonder has been an outstanding striker at the highest of levels in both European and South American competitions, and we think his game is tailor-made for Major League Soccer,” said Nashville SC General Manager Mike Jacobs. 

"The combination of his athleticism and clinical ability around the box made him heavily sought after. We feel fortunate to be able to add him to our club.”

Manchester United wanted to sign Osimhen


Manchester United wanted to sign Victor Osimhen earlier this summer but he didn't want to compete with Odion Ighalo, the Napoli star's brother has claimed.

Napoli won the race for Osimhen's signature this summer, striking a €50 million (£46m/$59m) deal with Lille on July 31.

The 21-year-old turned down United though, because he did not want to challenge his Nigeria team-mate for playing time.

Radamel Falcao has revealed that he intends to join David Beckham at Inter Miami before hanging up his boots, with the Colombian eager to head for MLS once his Galatasaray contract expires.

He has told Daniel Habif: “I have two more years left on my contract with Galatasaray and I want to play with Inter Miami because there are a lot of Colombians there and it reminds me of my country.”

Upamecano could leave next season - Nagelsmann


Manchester United-linked defender Dayot Upamecano will be staying with RB Leipzig for now, but he could leave the club next season, says Julian Nagelsmann.

Upamecano was one of the standout players in both the Bundesliga and Champions League last term, as he helped Leipzig finish third in the German top flight and reach the semi-finals of Europe's elite competition.

Robinson moves to West Brom in swap deal with Burke


Sheffield United forward Callum Robinson has completed a permanent move to West Brom, with Oliver Burke moving in the opposite direction.

Robinson spent the second half of the 2019-20 campaign on loan at the Hawthorns, having moved to Bramall Lane from Preston last summer.

Burke, meanwhile, has signed a three-year deal with West Brom after an 18-month loan spell at Celtic, as Sheffield United have confirmed via their official website.

Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick says Thiago Alcantara and David Alaba are still in his plans ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, but has confirmed that Ivan Perisic is heading back to Inter.

Atletico Madrid will not be selling Alvaro Morata to Juventus this summer - according to Cadena Cope.

The Bianconeri want to bring back a striker who was on their books between 2014 and 2016, but he wishes to remain at Wanda Metropolitano.

Atletico want to keep hold of Morata for the foreseeable future, having seen him score 16 goals in 44 games since joining the club from Chelsea on a permanent deal last summer.

Saul admits to being 'very flattered' by Man Utd transfer links


Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez has admitted to being "very flattered" by recent Manchester United transfer links.

United were reportedly planning a summer swoop for Saul earlier this year, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer aimed to strengthen his options in the middle of the park at Old Trafford.

Red Devils legend Rio Ferdinand was among those to endorse a potential move for the 25-year-old, as he said on Instagram Live: "I think he’s a major player. Composed, calm, great left foot, lovely conductor, he can score goals, tactically he’s very aware.

"Saul Niguez is huge and it’s come out in the papers that Man Utd are interested in him, but we’ll have to wait and see."

Spanish giants keen on Gunners full-back

Barcelona have contacted Arsenal over a possible deal for Hector Bellerin - according to SPORT.

Blaugrana officials have met with the Premier League club to discuss terms, but the Gunners will only listen to offers within the region of €25 million (£23m/$29m) for the Spain international.

Bellerin, who has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, missed the majority of the 2019-20 season through injury.

Erling Haaland’s impact in European football is similar to that made by Kylian Mbappe, says Michu, with the Dortmund striker expected to join Real MadridManchester City or Bayern Munich at some stage while also fighting for “the Golden Boot and Ballon d’Or every season”.
