    Partey agents apologise for 'next club' Instagram post

    The agency representing Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey has apologised for an Instagram post which suggested potential next clubs for the midfielder.

    The post, using a graphic from Transfermarkt, read "pick his next club" with the options given as Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester United and PSG.

    The company said an internal investigation was being carried out, with a statement reading: "Concerning the publication that was made today, Wednesday, April 29, 2020, on our Instagram account, regarding the future of our player Thomas Partey, from J.J. Sport Managers we want to convey that this publication was not approved by the management of the company."

    Mihajlovic demands payment from Sporting

    Former Sporting Lisbon manager Sinisa Mihajlovic says the club hasn't paid him the full €3 million compensation for unfair dismissal after he was removed in June 2018.

    A statement from Mihajlovic said: “Sporting Lisbon as of today have not paid me the money that is owed. Since the start of the year, since the club first recognised this debt, they have done nothing but try to delay payment.

    “This behaviour is unacceptable and if forced I will go back to UEFA to receive the full sum. I’ll go all the way, even if it means excluding Sporting from UEFA competitions.”

    It is claimed the 21-year-old's release clause stands at only €12 million (£10m/$13m).
