Kai Havertz may not quite know how to describe his position for Chelsea, but feels he is playing in the 'perfect' position for him. "To be honest, I don’t know!"&nbsp;Havertz told <a href="https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2021/05/10/havertz-exclusive-in-arsenal-programme-which-is-on-sale-now?cardIndex=0-3" target="_blank">Chelsea's official matchday programme</a> ahead of Wednesday's game against Arsenal. "I play somewhere up front – number nine, number 10, something in between – to be honest, I don’t know 100 per cent. "I just enjoy the position right now because I feel very good there. I have a lot of fast strikers next to me right now, so that’s very nice and I think it’s the perfect position for me. I can be dangerous in the box, I can have the ball a lot and that is what I like, so right now it’s very nice for me in this position. "I think the first year wasn’t very easy for me but I think I’m getting better and better, getting more confidence. But, for me, the team effort was the most important thing this season, and that we get victories – that’s more important than my own personal things. But, of course, I always want to play my best and I’m getting better now, so it feels good."

Following Saturday's impressive 2-1 victory at champions-elect Manchester City, Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has revealed how manager Thomas Tuchel's half-time pep talk spurred the players on. Victor Moses has been one of the success stories from Chelsea's loan group and, due to a clause in his deal with Spartak Moscow, an automatic purchase option could soon be triggered. The Russian Premier League side will automatically sign Moses for £4m ($6m) should they qualify for the Champions League, Goal has learned. Currently, they are battling five teams over one spot, but their game in hand means that four points from six games will guarantee qualification. Emma Hayes' Women's Super League-winning Chelsea side are considering the option of signing Lauren James from Manchester United this summer, Goal can confirm. The 19-year-old is one of the WSL's most promising talents and could join her brother Reece, who plays full-back for Thomas Tuchel's team. However, Chelsea are already heavily stocked for forwards with Sam Kerr and Fran Kirby having starred, along with world-record signing Pernille Harder in recent weeks. Tomori's goal against Juventus offers Milan a better chance of £27m deal

Chelsea have signalled their intent to offer Armando Broja a new contract ahead of the new season. The 19-year-old has 11 goals and three assists in 32 appearances in his maiden season in senior men's football with Vitesse. Vitesse also reached the KNVB Cup final which they narrowly lost to Ajax and his side are on track to reach their goals of qualifying for Europe. The Eredivisie side are keen on keeping Broja for another year after he extends his deal, but other offers are beginning to come in. Furthermore, it is unlikely that Thomas Tuchel will call him into his Chelsea first-team squad for next season.

Armando Broja will be offered a new Chelsea contract

Chelsea have activated a clause in loan star Marc Guehi's contract to extend his deal until 2023. The 20-year-old has been dubbed 'the best defender in the Championship' by some and is bidding to earn promotion to the Premier League with Swansea City. Although Guehi has an extra year added to his deal, it remains unclear what his long term future will be with all possibilities remaining open. He is highly regarded at Chelsea and is targeting playing next season in the Premier League, whether that's at his parent club, with Swansea or at another different team. Significantly, the extension allows the Blues a bit more time to decide his future and doesn't allow potential buying clubs to exploit an expiring contract.
