Saudi club Al-Hilal issued an official statement on Friday regarding the future of Brazilian winger Malcom with the club.
Al-Hilal said, on its official website: "The board of directors of Al-Hilal Club Company completed on Friday evening the procedures for signing a contractual settlement with the first football team's Brazilian player Malcom Filipe."
Malcom had all but sorted out his next destination. He announced on his Instagram account that he was joining UAE club Al-Jazira, a move that came before Al-Hilal confirmed the end of their relationship with the player.
Al-Hilal struck a similar tone in a second statement: "The board of directors of Al-Hilal Club Company, chaired by His Highness Prince Nawaf bin Saad, and the first football team's French player Mattéo Guendouzi agreed to end the contractual relationship binding the player to the club, wishing the player continued success in his upcoming career."
