WHAT HAPPENED? Grealish shared a picture on his Instagram with former Villan Juan Pablo Angel, a Premier League legend from yesteryear. "My first ever hero.If you know then you know. There's only one Juan Pablo Angel," he captioned the post.
Angel starred for Villa between 2001 and 2007 before eventually moving to the MLS. The Colombian international netted 62 goals in 205 appearances for the Midlands-based club.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: Grealish spent a large part of his career at Aston Villa and helped the club secure promotion to the Premier League. He established himself as the Villans' star player in the English top flight before his move to Man City.
The 28-year-old made his return from an injury against Brighton and Hove Albion over the weekend.
