Nicklas Bentdner has completed a move to Rosenborg from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee, bringing to an end a forgettable spell at the City Ground.
The former Arsenal striker returned to English football in September 2016, but struggled to make an impact.
He managed just two goals for Forest, with his spell best summed up by an own goal in a crunch clash with local rivals Derby.
The 29-year-old will be hoping to bring his career back to life in Norway.
Since slipping down the pecking order at Arsenal, Bendtner has lost his spark.
Rosenborg are, however, prepared to take a chance on him and have been able to secure his signature as their transfer window does not close until the end of March.
