Morocco's Lille midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi has edged closer to an official move to Manchester City in the ongoing summer window.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano posted on X: "Ayoub Bouaddi will move from Lille to Manchester City. The deal is done."
He added: "An agreement has been reached between the two clubs over the deal, which will be worth up to 100 million euros including add-ons."
Romano went on: "Manchester City have received the green light from Lille to complete the signing of the Moroccan star."
His conclusion left no doubt: "Bouaddi had reached an agreement on the personal terms of his contract with Manchester City last July, and he is now on his way to joining the club's project."
