African Nations Cup: Ghana Reveal 23-Man Squad For Angola Without Captain Stephen Appiah

Ghana have named a 23-man squad for the upcoming 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola without substantive captain Stephen Appiah and regular Sulley Muntari.

Appiah is nursing a last-minute injury he had at a training session with his new club Bologna, whilst Muntari was dropped for allegedly failing to apologise for failing to attend an international friendly with permission.

Coach Milovan Rajevac's squad is made up of six members of the FIFA World Under-20 winning team for the tournament running between January 10 and 31.

The Black Stars will pitch camp in Nelspruit, South Africa from December 28 to prepare for the tournament.
