AFC Leopards to wait longer for Mathare United targets

AFC Leopards bound duo Whyvonne Isuza and Robinson Kamura will have to wait a little longer before joining the Den.

The duo have reportedly signed a three year contract each with the thirteen times champions, who are aiming to restructure. Mathare United CEO Jacktone Obure says the two must be cleared by the club first and that the club is not aware of their departure.

"Yes, their contracts have expired but that does not mean that they will leave the way they want. We have procedures that have to be followed to the latter and we cannot bend them. We have not released them at all, that is our stand, they will meet the chairman first.

"It is the same case with Erick Johanna, he is still our player until he is cleared, but before that, nothing will materialize," Obure told Goal.

The 'slum boys' are aiming for the top position next season.
