    However, Reynolds remained adamant that his Order of B.C. investiture would not be filmed for the upcoming season of Welcome to Wrexham, the documentary series that has gained immense popularity among fans as it sheds light on several behind-the-scenes moments of the football club.

    Speaking to the Vancouver Sun, Reynolds said: "They [the film crew] wanted to come here, but I said no."

    After their initial struggles, Wrexham have been blossoming under the leadership of Reynolds and fellow actor and businessman Rob McElhenney. In 2022-23, the Welsh club got promoted with record-breaking points in their kitty to League Two after a 15-year hiatus and now sit in fourth place. Talking about the experience of owning a football club and the recent success, he said: "I don’t sit back with any degree of cockiness about that. It’s football — anything can happen. It’s a kind of edge-of-your-seat situation day in and day out. We’re dealing with lots of injuries right now.”
