WATCH: World No. 1 tennis player Aryna Sabalenka honored by Inter Miami after winning Miami Open

Fresh off her Miami Open victory, Aryna Sabalenka attended Inter Miami's match against Toronto FC at Chase Stadium. The tennis star was honored by the club and its co-owner David Beckham, who presented her with a personalized Inter Miami jersey featuring her name and the number 1. Not only that, she also met Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, and watched the 1-1 draw against Toronto FC.

The event showcased the vibrant sports culture in Miami, where world-class athletes from different sports come together. Sabalenka's appearance at the Inter Miami match follows her dominant performance at the Miami Open, where she clinched her eighth WTA 1000 title without dropping a set.

Following their 1-1 draw, Inter Miami dropped to second place on the Eastern Conference table with 14 points and sit one point behind Conference leaders Columbus Crew. The Herons host LAFC next in the second leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal on April 9 and then go on the road to face Gregg Berhalter’s Chicago Fire on April 13 in the MLS.
