Virgil van Dijk and Antonio Rudiger snubbed! Bayern Munich star Harry Kane picks Premier League legend as toughest defender he's ever faced

In an interview with GOAL, in association with STATSports, Kane was presented with eight of the toughest centre-backs he has faced in his career: Sergio Ramos, Gerard Pique, Van Dijk, Rudiger, John Terry, Ruben Dias, Giorgio Chiellini, and Mats Hummels. After doing a knockout game that involved eliminating one of those players in a direct head-to-head, the 31-year-old chose Chelsea icon Terry as the best defender he has ever faced.

Kane has faced some legendary defenders during his career, both internationally and in club football. The Bayern ace has competed at World Cups, European Championships, in the Premier League, Champions League, and Bundesliga. So to pick Terry is a badge of honour for the Englishman.

During Terry's 19-year spell at Chelsea, he earned a reputation as one of the best centre-backs in the world and helped the Blues win five Premier Leagues, five FA Cups, and a Champions League title, too.

Former Tottenham man Kane will likely pit himself against more defensive talent as England prepare to face Andorra and Senegal on June 7 and 10.
