Vinicius Junior nears breaking point over 'campaign' against him in Spain as racism issue persists - with Real Madrid star also 'angry' about Kylian Mbappe relationship claims

The Brazilian's growing frustration stems from the repeated racist abuse he has faced while playing at away stadiums in Spain. He was once again subjected to verbal abuse from the stands at Anoeta during Real Madrid's latest La Liga encounter against Real Sociedad and the forward chose to respond with a 'shush' gesture in an attempt to silence the home crowd.

Moreover, Vinicius claimed that the 2030 World Cup should be relocated out of Spain unless significant changes are made - which has not gone down well with fans. According to journalist Tono García, of El Larguero, the forward is tired of the continuous noise surrounding him, especially the misinformation that has circulated in the wake of his public statements on racism.

Garcia shared insights from Vinicius’ inner circle and said: "Vinicius' trusted people told me that Vini is fed up. There is too much noise, too much is said about him and they believe that there is a campaign, especially here in Spain, following the defence he made when he said that Spain was a racist country."

One of the most aggravating aspects for Vinicius has been the creation of false narratives, particularly the fabricated reports about his relationship with Kylian Mbappe.

“He gets very angry with that because they talk about a bad relationship, and it’s actually the opposite. They celebrate together, and they understand each other perfectly,” Garcia reported.

Vinicius continues to shine on the pitch as he has two goals and three assists in six matches in La Liga. Though the toll of the media scrutiny and racist abuse clearly weighs heavily on him, he will look forward to keeping his focus on the pitch when Real Madrid begin their Champions League campaign against Stuttgart on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
