Woods, who has celebrated the birth of her first child with former Love Island star Adam Collard, was back on presenting duty with TNT Sports when Paris Saint-Germain faced Inter in a European showpiece at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Before going live, and ahead of a ball being kicked in PSG’s crushing 5-0 victory, Woods attempted to do a piece to camera that would preview the action to come. She was, however, to find that process more difficult to complete than initially anticipated.

That is because ex-England international Ferdinand, unaware of the events playing out around him, casually strolled across the shot. He remained completely oblivious to what he had done as Woods jokingly said: “F*cking hell, Rio”.

Ferdinand, after wandering in front of the camera for a second time, eventually cottoned on to what he had done and offered his apologies - while seeing the funny side of his somewhat unprofessional behaviour.

Woods will not have to worry about Ferdinand interrupting her next season as he has now severed ties with TNT Sports. The Premier League-winning former United defender is expected to link up with an American broadcaster ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
