VIDEO: Angry Cristiano Ronaldo sparks outrage by rubbing Al-Hilal scarf on his crotch after being targeted by more Lionel Messi chants during Al-Nassr’s Riyadh Cup defeat

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was in a foul mood after seeing Al-Nassr suffer a 2-0 defeat to Saudi Pro League rivals in the Riyadh Cup. He was all smiles before the game when WWE superstar The Undertaker made a surprise appearance alongside the trophy that was up for grabs.

Ronaldo’s joy soon turned to anger, with the Portuguese superstar targeted by more Lionel Messi chants from the crowd – which he could not help responding to. He then cut a frustrated figure when heading off the pitch at the final whistle.

After seeing a couple of blue and white Al-Hilal scarfs tossed in his direction as he trudged down the tunnel, Ronaldo picked up one and rubbed it on his crotch before flinging it aside. His antics have been widely condemned on social media, with the 39-year-old accused of lacking class.

Ronaldo was back in action against Al-Hilal after shaking off the untimely injury which prevented him from lining up against eternal rival Lionel Messi in an earlier Riyadh Cup clash with MLS side Inter Miami. Al-Nassr’s next game will see them face Al-Feiha in the first leg of an AFC Champions League last-16 showdown on February 14.
