    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Since his move 12 months ago, Aaronson has struggled for game time at Frankfurt. The attacking midfielder has made just seven Bundesliga appearances all campaign, assisting once. Of his 14 total matches played across all competitions, Aaronson has started just three - and was hooked at half-time in two of them.

All three currently ply their trade for the runaway Eredivisie leaders, with Sergino Dest, Malik Tillman and Ricardo Pepi playing starring roles in PSV's scintillating season. WHAT NEXT FOR AARONSON?

The USMNT star will hope that he can get more playing time under his belt between now and the end of the season.
