The midfielder was an important part of Luis Enrique’s treble winning side as PSG ran riot against Inter in the 5-0 win in Munich last week. The team decided to celebrate their treble win in the streets of Paris when the two suspects allegedly targeted Ruiz’s house. The midfielder is not the first victim of a burglary attempt, as team-mate William Pacho was robbed in March while he was away on international duty.

PSG became the first team from France to win a treble when they defeated Inter. They are only the second club from France to win the European crown so after Marseille defeated Inter’s cross town rivals AC Milan 1-0 in the 1992-93 Champions League final.
