Transfer talk over? USMNT star Christian Pulisic drops future hint after delaying new contract at AC Milan

The United States international endured a frustrating end to the 2024-25 campaign. Despite winning his first trophy with the Rossoneri during his second season at San Siro, Pulisic suffered Coppa Italia final heartache and saw Milan finish eighth in the Serie A table.

There will be no European football on the agenda for Milan next season, which has delivered more change in the dugout and could see plenty of movement in the summer transfer window.

Pulisic, fresh from posting a new personal best goal return of 17 efforts across all competitions, was being lined up for a new contract in Milan. He has, however, delayed signing that deal as options are mulled over.

There has been talk of interest from the Premier League in ex-Chelsea forward Pulisic, with the 26-year-old eager to play at the highest possible level. He has, however, hinted at staying put in a social media post that reads: “Not our best season, hungry for more.”

That would appear to suggest that Pulisic will form part of Milan’s efforts to get back on track in 2025-26. He should be fresh heading into that campaign after ruling himself out of the USMNT squad that Mauricio Pochettino is readying for a shot at Gold Cup glory.
