Tottenham's good luck charm? Gareth Bale returns to Spain for TNT Sports punditry duties during Europa League final against Man Utd

Bale is a certified Tottenham legend despite only having won one trophy with the Lilywhites as a sporadic part of the squad. The Welshman made 237 appearances for the North Londoners and directly contributed to 124 goals over his two stints on either side of his Real Madrid stay.

Tottenham now stand the chance to win their first trophy since their Carabao Cup triumph in 2008, as they are set to take on Manchester United in the Europa League final at Estadio San Mames in Spain. Bale is now set to be on the touchline for the match as he has joined TNT Sports as an official pundit for the match.

Bale also featured as a pundit earlier this season with TNT Sports for their coverage of the Champions League, and on Wednesday night at San Mames, he will be joined in the studio by a number of former stars. Rio Ferdinand, Glenn Hoddle, Robbie Savage and Paul Scholes will be a part of the punditry team with Bale.

Ange Postecoglou's side will be heading into the Europa League in somewhat of a positive mindset, as they have managed to defeat Manchester United in all three of their clashes this season. However, a final will be a different ball game altogether as neither side will be favourites for the clash on Wednesday, May 21.
