Revealed: The three players Harry Kane asked for shirt swap - with Bayern Munich & England star snubbed by Lionel Messi

The prolific striker, who is now on the books of German giants Bayern Munich, has lined up against some of the best players on the planet over the course of his record-breaking career. Those outings have come in domestic, European and international competition.

Kane is the all-time leading goalscorer for Tottenham and the Three Lions. He faced plenty of fellow superstars while turning out in the Premier League. He has also graced the Champions League, as well as European Championships and World Cup finals.

As a humble character who has always been focused on maximising his own talent, Kane has rarely felt the need to seek out jerseys at the final whistle. He has made three exceptions to that rule, with all-time greats figuring on an elite list of talent.

Kane told his Cleats Club channel when asked if he likes to swap shirts with rivals: “If someone asks me to swap, I will swap with them for sure. I have only asked for a few players in my career.

“I asked for Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi. I got Rooney and Ronaldo, I never ended up getting Messi. I have only asked for a few in my career, but I’m happy to swap mine whenever someone asks me.”

Kane has become a modern-day hero in his own right, making him a popular choice of swaps for opposition players. The 2024-25 campaign saw him break his much-publicised trophy duck, with the Bundesliga title being captured by Bayern.
