Simone Inzaghi set for crucial talks with Inter as he mulls over future amid massive Al-Hilal offer following Champions League final humiliation

Inzaghi will sit down with the club hierarchy on Tuesday to determine his future at the club according to Calciomercato. The meeting comes in the wake of a 5-0 Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, which has intensified doubts around the continuation. Reports say that Inzaghi is thinking about a big offer from Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal and hasn't ruled out leaving.

Inter had planned to continue with Inzaghi into the 2025-26 season, but the heavy loss in the European final and losing the Serie A title to Napoli in the last week of the season with a one-point difference have prompted internal reassessment. Al-Hilal's continuing interest and huge financial offer have made things even more complicated.

Inzaghi has guided Inter to two Champions League finals in the three seasons but the Nerazzurri failed to win either. As their manager, he has achieved a total of one Serie A title and the Coppa Italia on two occasiosn. His current contract with Inter is set to expire on June 30, 2026.

If Inzaghi leaves, Inter are considering the likes of Roberto De Zerbi and Cesc Fabregas as options to replace him. The club are likely to resolve the situation swiftly with the Club World Cup kicking off in less than two weeks.
