On Sunday at 3pm, the New Balance Arena in Bergamo welcomes Atalanta and Frosinone for the eighth round of Serie A. The hosts are coming off a cruel setback against Ajax in the Conference League, while the visitors have made an excellent start to the season. Maurizio Sarri needs a win after successive defeats to Milan and Ajax: his Dea are struggling more than expected. Massimiliano Alvini has the Ciociari flying, with four wins, a draw and two defeats in the league. Antonio Raimondo is the league's joint top scorer alongside Monza's Varela.

Goals and highlights:
50' - ATALANTA MAKE IT FOUR, ELMAS! Calò gives the ball away while playing out. De Ketelaere drives down the left and squares for Krstovic, who tees up the Macedonian. Elmas beats Palmisani to make it 4-3. The Montenegrin has two goals and an assist.

48' - FROSINONE EQUALISE THROUGH CALO'! Ghedjemis tears down the right again and lays the ball off to the midfielder. Calò shoots right-footed towards the far post to make it 3-3 and score his third Serie A goal.

45' - ATALANTA TURN IT AROUND, KRSTOVIC AGAIN! Zappacosta breaks away down the right and crosses for the Montenegrin, who connects to make it 3-2. The comeback is complete, and the former Lecce player has his sixth Serie A goal.

32' - ATALANTA LEVEL, EDERSON SCORES FROM THE SPOT! The Brazilian sends Palmisani the wrong way to make it 2-2.

31' - Penalty for Atalanta! A cross comes in from the right. De Ketelaere heads the ball, and Cittadini jumps with his arm raised. After a VAR review, Marinelli awards the penalty.

17' - FROSINONE AGAIN, SCHMID AGAIN! Ghedjemis wins his physical battle with Obric, breaks into the area and lays the ball off to the arriving Austrian. Schmid side-foots a right-footed finish home for his second goal and a 2-1 Frosinone lead.

14' - ATALANTA EQUALISE, KRSTOVIC! Rowe dribbles past Calvani and finds De Ketelaere, who slips a through ball to the Montenegrin. One-on-one with Palmisani, Krstovic makes no mistake.

1' - FROSINONE SCORE IMMEDIATELY, SCHIMID! Atalanta make a disastrous start. Ederson receives a pass from Obric but finds the Austrian in the middle of the area. Schmid shoots, and Frosinone lead after 30 seconds.
