Scott McTominay's next club? Serie A side join Fulham in transfer pursuit of Man Utd midfielder

Fulham have had multiple bids for the Scottish international rejected and could now miss out to Italian side Napoli. According to The Mirror, head coach Antonio Conte is said to be keen on bringing the midfielder to the Serie A after McTominay was given the green light to leave United this summer. A further report from The Telegraph suggest Napoli would prefer to loan McTominay as they are not willing to pay Man Utd's £25 million ($32m) asking price.

McTominay is attracting a lot of interest from both Premier League and European clubs with the new season about to get underway. Tottenham are also reportedly interested in the 27-year-old, who is now in the final year of his contract.

Scotland's 52-cap international has been at Manchester United for his entire career. He was handed a contract in 2017 and has since made over 250 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 29 times.

Head coach Erik ten Hag has used McTominay during pre-season and may call upon him in the opening weeks of the Premier League season should a transfer away from Manchester not materialise.
