With 12 goals and six assists since his summer move from Manchester United, McTominay has been a consistent performer for Antonio Conte's side and his fine form was recognised when the Serie A MVP awards were announced. The 28-year-old was named the best player overall.

McTominay's performances for Napoli have made him a favourite among the club's supporters, while the Italian press has praised him for "flashes of genius" as his side held on to first place.
