Getty Images SportWHAT RUBEN AMORIM SAID
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, the Portuguese coach admitted that Man Utd's approach had not been ideal, saying: "When you coach Manchester United, you cannot play too much like that but the idea is to win the game and not to show something just to the fans. I know that it's frustrating for the fans sometimes but then when you score and you feel comfortable and then you have a lot of opportunities, the game changes, the momentum changes and they are happy. So we have to deal with that.
"Sometimes we have to do things that are not popular but if you want to win and imagine one way to win, we have to do it because in the end, we need the points."
GettyWHAT NEXT FOR MANCHESTER UNITED?
The Red Devils will be back in action this Thursday as they take on Real Sociedad in the second leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie.
