Revealed: Tammy Abraham's salary at Besiktas as English striker signs four-year contract after completing €15m move from Roma

Besiktas have completed the signing of Abraham from Roma. The Turkish giants will pay a €2 million (£2m/$2m)loan fee for the 2025-26 season, with a clause that triggers a €13m (£11m/$15m) permanent transfer starting 2026-27 if conditions are met. The 27-year-old has signed a contract that could see him stay at the club until 2029, earning up to €7m (£6m/$8m) per season.

Abraham struggled for consistent game time in his final season at Roma due to a serious knee injury and a loan spell at AC Milan. With limited minutes and tough competition, the English striker is now aiming for a fresh start in Turkey. Besiktas are betting on his proven goal-scoring ability as they look to re-establish themselves in Europe.

Abraham scored 25 goals for Aston Villa in the 2018-19 Championship season before returning to Chelsea to spend two seasons in the first-team. He also played a key role in Roma’s UEFA Conference League triumph in 2022. Now, he joins up with manager ex-Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the Super Lig side.

The striker will be unveiled by Besiktas after completing his medical and contract signing. If he performs well and the transfer terms are met, he will become a permanent signing at the Turkish club from the 2026-27 season onward.
