  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Besiktas have completed the signing of Abraham from Roma. The Turkish giants will pay a €2 million (£2m/$2m)loan fee for the 2025-26 season, with a clause that triggers a €13m (£11m/$15m) permanent transfer starting 2026-27 if conditions are met. The 27-year-old has signed a contract that could see him stay at the club until 2029, earning up to €7m (£6m/$8m) per season.

    Abraham struggled for consistent game time in his final season at Roma due to a serious knee injury and a loan spell at AC Milan. With limited minutes and tough competition, the English striker is now aiming for a fresh start in Turkey.
