Revealed: Man Utd set final Jadon Sancho asking price ahead of summer transfer window - which effectively rules Borussia Dortmund out of the running

According to Football Insider, the Red Devils are expected to demand a transfer fee in the region of £40-50 million if a club wants to buy Sancho in the summer transfer window. The valuation effectively rules Borussia Dortmund out of the running to sign the winger permanently as they are not in a strong enough financial position to match such a huge fee.

After Sancho's infamous public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag last August, he was sent out on loan to the Bundesliga club during the January transfer window. While Dortmund admire the 23-year-old's abilities, sporting director Sebastian Kehl recently told Sky Sports that they are unlikely to make his stay permanent.

The England international has enjoyed a good run of form since he returned to Germany. He has provided two assists in the first three matches for Dortmund, who are now up to fourth in the Bundesliga table.

The United loanee missed Dortmund's latest encounter against Heidenheim due to a muscular injury and it remains to be seen if he recovers from the knock in time to make the matchday squad for Saturday's clash against Freiburg.
