Another Red Devil - just like David Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic - at LA Galaxy? MLS side planning ambitious move for Man Utd outcast Facundo Pellistri

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, PSV have reached out to the Red Devils about a potential loan deal for the Uruguayan international. However, the Galaxy are preparing a full transfer bid for the 22-year-old.

Pellistri would undoubtedly be the most expensive signing - ever - for the Galaxy, while also following in the footsteps of two Manchester United legends who played for the club as well. Both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Beckham crafted their trade at the club during the latter stages of their careers.

If the Galaxy were to manage to get the deal over the line, Pellistri would take up a Designated Player slot.

The Uruguayan and United are back in action Monday evening in FA Cup action against Wigan Athletic. The Galaxy, meanwhile, are preparing for MLS preseason with the start of the campaign just over a month away.
