Raheem Sterling witnessed new Arsenal team-mates 'rage' over referee Chris Kavanagh in the dressing room after Declan Rice's controversial red card in Brighton draw

After playing for Premier League giants Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea, the England international has now arrived in North London after joining the Gunners on deadline day. A day after completing his move, the winger was spotted at Emirates Stadium on Saturday as Mikel Arteta's side faced Brighton in a Premier League clash.

After the game, the 29-year-old paid a visit to the dressing room. Per the Independent, Arsenal players were furious over Chris Kavanagh's performance, with the referee controversially showing Declan Rice a second yellow card in the first half for delaying the restart. The report adds that Arteta was even angrier than his players but mindful of keeping his composure.

The North London club were desperate to add an attacker to their ranks in the recent transfer window and had shortlisted several top names. However, they missed out on signing players like Nico Williams, Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak and eventually roped in a seasoned Premier League campaigner in Sterling. The team, however, believes that the ex-Chelsea star will have a lot to offer during his brief stay at the Emirates Stadium.

The winger could make his debut in the North London derby after the international break as Arsenal take on arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League clash on September 15.
