Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was given a hero's welcome as he arrived to complete the formalities of his return to Marseille.
Aubameyang is returning to the club on a free transfer, having left for Saudi Arabia at the end of the 2023-24 campaign. And in doing so, he was met by a huge gaggle of fans, who greeted him with applause and chants.

Aubameyang played 51 times for Marseille in 23-24, scoring 30 goals and registering 11 assists. He departed the club to head to the Middle East, joining Al-Qadsiah on a two-year contract, but he left the club at the end of the season and is now preparing for his homecoming. In Saudi Arabia, he scored 21 times in 36 games.
