    WHAT HAPPENED?

Chelsea and Manchester City produced a Premier League classic on Sunday as Cole Palmer's last-gasp penalty goal helped the hosts hold the reigning champions to a 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge. Pep Guardiola, though, did not have any regret despite not being able to return home with all three points as he lauded Mauricio Pochettino's team's performance. He even claimed that the Blues were a better team than Arsenal.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Although Pochettino's men are currently 10th on the points table, they have managed to remain unbeaten against three of the top four teams in the league at the moment. While they drew 2-2 and 4-4 against Arsenal and the Cityzens, respectively they comfortably beat Tottenham 4-1.

    WHAT DID PEP GUARDIOLA SAY?

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Guardiola said, "They are a really good team so there's no doubt. Liverpool couldn't win. They were much, much better than Arsenal and in the end, Arsenal drew. So you know, it's Chelsea, they won't go away. I always have to think about what we can do to get better. It's not going to happen that we come here and win 7-0. They are trying to rebuild. We have no complaints.

"We go into [the break] top of the league and I didn't expect that after the Arsenal defeat. The next games are really tough."
