    WHAT FREUND SAID

He told Sky Sport in Germany: "There is currently no agreement, that's true. The talks have been ongoing for some time now, but they are good talks. We'll see if there is an agreement in the next few days or weeks."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Sane was offered a new Bayern deal but as he was presented with a reduced salary, the 29-year-old subsequently switched to a new agent, and now an agreement seems remote. The German international has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, and it seems the winger's future will go right down to the wire.
