NFL is heading to Real Madrid! La Liga giants to host regular season American football match at Santiago Bernabeu

The National Football League announced the collaboration on social media Friday afternoon, dubbing it the 'NFLMadridGame.' The game will be held in the ever-famous Santiago Bernabeu, home of Real Madrid.

The NFL is undergoing a world-wide expansion, where they are playing an increasing number of games outside of the United States each season. Most recently, they have played games in Germany and England, but with Spain now on the horizon - who is to say we will not see an international version of the league pop up soon?

The NFL has also held matches at Wembley Stadium in England, with the first time being in 2007.

Super Bowl LVIII takes place on Sunday, with the Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers and Brock Purdy in a winner-takes-all showing. Then, the 2024 season will start up later in the year.
