Neymar 'slid into DMs' of Olympic swimmer Luana Alonso, who was kicked out of athletes' village for 'creating inappropriate atmosphere'

Paraguayan swimming star Luana Alonso was removed from the Olympics village after allegedly creating an "inappropriate atmosphere". She lost her event on the first day and is reported to have failed to wear Paraguay's official kit, while also distracting her team-mates. Now, as she moves on from that disappointment, she has claimed that Neymar is a big fan.

The Brazil international is still rehabbing his ACL injury that left him on the sidelines for the majority of the 2024-25 season. Now, Alonso has said that Neymar found the time to send her a DM.

Alonso told Paraguayan radio show Aire de Todos, per The Sun: "He sent me a DM. That's all I can say."

Pressed for detail, she replied: "It was left on the request form. I cannot tell this here."

Neymar clearly has some time on his hands but it is unclear if he and Alonso will meet. Al-Hilal play Al-Ahli in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final on Tuesday.
