The Red Bulls has had a sluggish start to the current domestic season after finishing fourth in the Eastern Conference and being eliminated in the first round of the MLS playoffs last year, and has just seven points in their first seven games. Following their draw against the San Jose Earthquakes, NYRB has suspended Dante Vanzeir from the squad due to his racial abuse towards Jeremy Ebobisse.
They welcome the Houston Dynamo, a team that has had a better start to the season despite suffering back-to-back losses against FC Cincinnati and the New England Revolution on the road.
Houston Dynamo has yet to pick up a point away from home this season, and they will try to end that wait and make it back-to-back victories on Saturday.
