'I thought he was going to pick it up!' - Morgan Gibbs-White reveals shock at Andre Onana's awful blunder for Nottingham Forest star's goal in 3-2 win over Man Utd
Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has revealed his shock that his effort against Manchester United went in as his side won 3-2 on Saturday.
Gibbs-White's strike made it 2-1, before Chris Wood scored Forest's third. United did pull a goal back through Bruno Fernandes, but they were unable to rescue a point, with Lisandro Martinez's late overhead kick zipping just over the bar in injury time.
WHAT GIBBS-WHITE SAID
Gibbs-White told Sky Sports: "I didn't [think it was going in] at all, to be fair. I don't want to discredit Onana, he's an incredible goalkeeper, but when I had the shot, I thought he was going to pick it up."
