Mikel Arteta sends 'unpredictable' warning to Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim over new job as Arsenal manager makes early 'fingerprints' claim

Amorim has quickly made his mark at Old Trafford, guiding United to a three-game unbeaten streak. Notably, Sunday's emphatic 4-0 triumph over Everton marked United's most dominant performance of the season, showcasing Amorim's tactical influence after introducing a 3-4-3 system, which has so far yielded positive results.

Arteta, reflecting on Amorim’s style and impact, praised the clarity and direction the 39-year-old has brought to United in such a short time.

"You can see his fingerprints in what he wants to do straight away. He's been very clear with what he wants to do," the Arsenal boss told reporters.

"What he did with Sporting was remarkable after so many years. Especially the way he did it and the way his teams are playing. It brings energy to a new club and the players which is always positive. But we have to focus on what we're doing."

Arteta, now a seasoned Premier League coach, has led a significant transformation in north London. His efforts restored the Arsenal's Champions League status after a six-year absence and established them as genuine title contenders over the past two seasons. Reflecting on his own experiences, Arteta offered insights into the unpredictability of managing a major club at a young age.

"How unpredictable this job is. I jumped into a new job in the middle of the season in very special circumstances socially," he said.

"Then we got hit by COVID. You can plan whatever you want but football brings different things and you have to deal with it. Take it as it comes and deal with it."
