Mason Greenwood to lose manager Roberto De Zerbi?! Tottenham consider move for Marseille boss if Ange Postecoglou is sacked as ex-Brighton head coach is recommended to chairman Daniel Levy
Tottenham have reportedly been recommended Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi if Ange Postecoglou is sacked.
According to talkSPORT, Tottenham's former managing director, Fabio Paratici, has recommended that if Postecoglou doesn't remain in charge next season, they should pursue ex-Brighton head coach De Zerbi. The report adds that the Italian is open to a Premier League return, less than 12 months after joining Marseille from the Seagulls.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Tottenham have had a dreadful Premier League season, with Postecoglou's side languishing 16th in the table. All that is keeping the Australian in the job is Spurs' run to the Europa League final, as they seek their first trophy in 17 years. The north London team are also reportedly monitoring Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola and Fulham's Marco Silva, with there being a real possibility that Postecoglou is sacked even if they win the Europa League.
DID YOU KNOW?
De Zerbi currently has Marseille on course to finish second in Ligue 1, and with it a place in next season's Champions League. If Tottenham win the Europa League, they too will be in that elite competition.
