Marseille sent Mason Greenwood future warning amid talk of big-money summer move for former Manchester United forward

Greenwood joined Marseille last summer in a deal valued at €30 million (£25m/$34m) from Manchester United. The move, which many initially viewed as a gamble, has proven to be a masterstroke for the Ligue 1 outfit as the 23-year-old has been in sensational form, scoring 13 goals and delivering four assists in just 20 appearances for the club.

Drawing a comparison to the rise of Luis Henrique, Julien Fournier told Le10Sport: “Look at Luis Henrique, who is on fire. A few months ago, the whole stadium was making fun of him...A Greenwood, you have to be able to keep him."

United may also benefit from any potential sale, as the Premier League club is rumoured to have included a sell-on clause in the deal that sent Greenwood to France.
