Marcus Rashford back on the dating scene? Man Utd outcast 'grows close' to Swedish padel star Jaki Palm during luxury holiday in St Tropez

The England international was last romantically linked to Love Island: All Stars contests Grace Jackson, who revealed that "all these f*cking United fans" flooded her social media accounts with comments during their supposed fling.

Rashford has been enjoying the single life again, during a loan spell away from Old Trafford at Aston Villa, but is now said to be striking up a bond with Dubai-based 27-year-old Palm - with the pair having been spotted together in St Tropez.

Rashford first met the Swede when heading to Dubai for treatment on the muscle complaint that disrupted his spell at Villa Park. They have now crossed paths again while enjoying a summer break on the French Riviera.

A source has told The Sun: "Marcus went to have rehab for a hamstring injury in Dubai and was introduced to Jaki. She then joined him with his mates and another woman in St Tropez for a holiday. It’s all very casual but Jaki has told her friends she’s grown close to him.

"She’s being very coy about it. But Marcus is playing the field like young men his age. He is just having fun in the Premier League off-season and he’s had a rough time with his hamstring so to see him having a laugh is what the doctor ordered."

Palm, who is a semi-pro padel star, describes herself as an "entrepreneur" and boasts over 10,000 followers on Instagram. She offers fans an inside look at her glamorous lifestyle and a "front row seat to my padel journey". Rashford, meanwhile, is waiting to discover what the summer transfer window brings after seemingly being deemed surplus to requirements by United.
