Man Utd player ratings vs West Ham: Rasmus Hojlund comes up short again as atrocious attack misfire before Andre Onana and Kobbie Mainoo errors prove costly for Erik ten Hag's timid Red Devils

Manchester United plummeted to previous unknown depths under David Moyes, but now even their much-ridiculed former manager is lording it over them. And 10 years after the Scot's disastrous and short-lived reign, the Red Devils are in an even worse position than when he was sacked.

Saturday's abysmal 2-0 surrender to West Ham would normally rank as a low point for Unitedm but the sad truth is it is becoming the norm. The Red Devils have now lost nine of their 18 Premier League games this season and have not scored a goal in their last four outings in all competitions.

They made a limp start in east London, but actually ended the first half looking much the better team. The problem was Alejandro Garnacho couldn't take his chances and Rasmus Hojlund, who now has a worse goal per minute ratio in the Premier League than Wout Weghorst for United (zero strikes in 11 starts), could not even create a glimpse of danger.

Once Jarrod Bowen put West Ham in front with the aid of more weak goalkeeping from Andre Onana, United never looked like responding. And Kobbie Mainoo's dreadful slip, allowing Mohammed Kudus to clinch another victory for Moyes over his former employers, compounded their misery.
