GettyTHE BIGGER PICTURE
That decision will reportedly be made as part of a summer of change at the club, when minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe takes over footballing operations and drives the approach for the coming transfer window. The British billionaire is expected to scrutinise the effectiveness of United's squad - which was recently revealed to be the most expensive in football history - with Antony one of many to face the chopping block. The Mail's report even notes that the club would be prepared to lose over half the £86m fee paid in order to get him gone.
Getty ImagesWHAT NEXT FOR ANTONY?
Ten Hag has pointed towards Antony's struggles with domestic abuse allegations - which he vehemently denies - being behind his poor form this season. Antony has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the past.
