VIDEO: Man Utd fan Luke Littler opens darts fan's EA Sports FC Ultimate Team pack during walk-on for PDC Premier League clash

Premier League darts reached the football-crazy north east on Thursday night and Littler spotted an outstretched smartphone while on his way to the oche with an Ultimate Team pack primed to be opened. After stopping to help, Littler had to hurry on his way but still seemed to have the incident in mind hours later when he popped up on social media to ask who was in the pack.

Littler became a global star when he roared to the final of the PDC World Darts Championship as a sixteen-year-old last month, losing narrowly in a final that drew an unprecedented television audience.

The Cheshire lad is a huge Manchester United fan and was invited as a special guest of the club to their clash with Tottenham Hotspur where he met United luminaries Sir Alex Ferguson and Jaap Stam. Littler is also a huge fan of EA Sports FC which he plays during his downtime from darts.

Littler travels to Exeter next week for Week 4 of Premier League Darts. No doubt the trend of having a pack opened by one of the most famous digits in sport will continue as the sporting roadshow rolls on.
