AFPTHE BIGGER PICTURE
FIFA’s decision stands in stark contrast to the punishment handed to Joao Neves, who was suspended for two matches after pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair in the same final. The contrasting outcomes highlight the governing body’s inconsistent approach to player and coach discipline. For Les Parisiens, the development comes as a relief, with no disruption to Enrique’s role on the touchline.
Getty Images SportWHAT NEXT FOR ENRIQUE AND PSG?
With the case dropped, PSG and Enrique will move on from the incident and focus fully on their campaign. The French giants remain intent on maintaining momentum in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, while Enrique can now avoid the distraction of a disciplinary battle.
