    Kelly played 68 minutes of the showdown in Lisbon, as Stina Blackstenius scored a 74th-minute winner to seal glory for the Gunners. After ending a difficult season with a medal, she then took a pop at her doubters in Instagram.

    Kelly started the season at Manchester City but suspended her five-year association with the club in acrimonious circumstances in January. The Lioness made just one WSL start in the first half of the season and claimed in a social media post that she wanted "to be happy again", before being allowed to leave for Arsenal on a loan deal.

    Kelly is out of contract at City this summer and will not return to the club. It is not yet clear whether Arsenal will sign her on a free transfer.
