Traffic and time both stopped on the streets of Montreal to witness the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner. Fans went berserk and loud chants of Messi were heard as the superstar tried to make his way into the team hotel.

Messi has been in sensational form this season and looked simply unstoppable in a 6-2 triumph over the New York Red Bulls where he contributed in all six strikes. After that historic display, the football legend has been backed by MLS pundit Matt Doyle to be involved in seven goals during a single match and even fire the Herons to their first-ever MLS championship.

Messi will look to continue with his brilliant run of form against Montreal on Saturday and further help Miami get a stronger hold on the number one position at the top of the standings.
