The excitement in Madrid has reached a fever pitch with the upcoming presentation of Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium slated to be held on Tuesday. Initially, Real Madrid made the tickets available to club members for free, but the intense demand led many members to exploit the situation by reselling their tickets at exorbitant prices.

Resale prices range from €30 to €200, depending on the seating location, leaving many fans who were eager to witness the event feeling frustrated and cheated. The online queue for tickets saw an overwhelming response, with more than 100,000 fans vying for the chance to attend Mbappe's presentation. This number far exceeds the Santiago Bernabeu's capacity, which is around 85,000.

The resale of presentation tickets has sparked outrage among Real Madrid supporters. Many fans took to social media to express their discontent.

"Tickets for the Mbappe presentation are on sale and within a few hours, the members (who won't even go) have almost sold out and are putting them up for resale at exorbitant prices. Going to the Bernabéu for normal people isn't a luxury, it's simply not possible," lamented one fan on Twitter (according to Vozpopuli).

Another added, "It's a shame to have members who behave like this. The club has to find and expel those who have put the tickets up for sale."

Cristiano Ronaldo's presentation as a Real Madrid player drew around 80,000 fans at the Bernabéu - which remains the highest attendance for a player unveiling. However, this record might be broken this coming Tuesday given the frenzy around the signing of Mbappe. The French superstar is already living up to the billing of his ‘Galactico’ status as the demand for his No.9 shirt has hit the roof - forcing Real to put out an official statement informing about a "delay in delivery of up to 4-6 additional weeks".

The official presentation of Mbappe is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, at 12:00 PM at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Prior to this public event, Mbappe will sign his contract at Valdebebas, Real Madrid's training ground. Club president Florentino Pérez will formally introduce Mbappe at Real Madrid City, marking the beginning of his five-year tenure with the club.

After that, Mbappe will be driven to the Bernabeu where a massive presentation ceremony is being planned. It is expected that the event will be graced by several Real Madrid legends including Zinedine Zidane. There will be live musicians, fireworks onstage and several 360-degree panoramic cameras to shoot the presentation from every possible angle.
