Per the Daily Mail,Walker will not be able to play for Milan this month, despite nearing a loan move to the San Siro. The England right-back flew out to Italy on Thursday but his debut has been delayed by regulations brought in post-Brexit. A work permit must be secured if a player wants to remain in the country for more than 90 days, so the red tape will delay his bow.
Walker will meet his team-mates on Friday but is poised to return to England as his registration and paperwork is completed. Milan are not likely to have him available until February 2, when they face Inter in a huge Serie A derby.
